Bloomberg reported merely over this morning that some 20 million usernames and email addresses have been provided for sale following the Russian online dating service Topface is hacked. Atlanta-based scam discovery firm Simple Options uncovered the violation if a hacker calling himself ‘Mastermind’ stated “to take ownership more than 20 million credentials”, like “over 7 million qualifications from Hotmail, 2.5 million from Yahoo and 2.2 million from Gmail.com.”
Within a declaration launched in the times, Topface CEO Dmitry Filatov reassured people that there was clearly absolutely nothing to be worried about:
“We are very certain that all of our people will likely not even have any problems or no facts got taken from y the solution.”
